Rabun Gap introduces ‘Six’ leads

Rabun Gap-Nacoochee School is bringing history and female stars to the main stage with its production of the new and popular musical, “Six.” The musical takes viewers through a contemporary, comedic, concert-like performance by the wives of King Henry VIII.

Family ties run deep for Fall sports in Rabun

Sports and family are intertwined throughout life. Teams, schools and programs are considered family and relationships between players can reflect that of siblings. Coaches, the leader of the team or “family,” symbolize the role of a mother or father.

Rabun Gap to host No. 2 team from Missouri Friday

It’s another week and another nationally ranked opponent for No. 43 Rabun Gap Nacoochee-School football. This time, the challenger hails from Missouri in No. 203 Christian Brothers College (CB).

Rabun Gap volleyball’s ‘goldfish mentality’ powering regular-season success

Ted Lasso once said “You know what the happiest animal on Earth is? It’s a goldfish. It’s got a 10-second memory. Be a goldfish.” Rabun Gap-Nacoochee School girls volleyball has adopted this “goldfish mentality” this season.

Forward Rabun Youth Leadership Program ‘off and running’

Forward Rabun’s Youth Leadership Program is off and running for the 2025-26 school year, as program participants convened last week for a tour of Rabun County’s own Foxfire Village and Museum.

CHARLOTTE, N.C. – In a battle of nationally ranked and North Carolina Independent School Athletic Association (NCISAA) powerhouses, No. 39 Providence Day School defeated rival No. 43 Rabun Gap-Nachoochee School 55-34.

Eagle X-country runners set new boys, girls school marks

Setting records has become the new norm for Rabun Gap-Nacoochee School cross country. That applies to both the boys and girls teams, which have seen records change in each of the last three seasons.

Eagles, Chargers meet Friday with seeding ramifications on the line

In what has already been a gauntlet of a schedule for No. 43 nationally ranked Rabun Gap-Nacoochee School football, perhaps none of its games are bigger than the one that awaits them this Friday, Sept. 19. Rabun Gap will take on a familiar opponent and budding rival in No.

RABUN GAP – “I’ve never seen anything like this before,” was the main sentiment from nearly everyone in attendance when Rabun Gap-Nacoochee School and Christ School boys soccer teams faced off on Sept. 11. However, the never-before-seen event was not related to a specific play on the field.
