The 2022-23 Rabun Gap golf team

The Rabun Gap golf team is composed of Benjamin Almond, Jason Bring, Noah Classen, Colin Davis, Juan Gispert de Puig, Andrew Jones, Samuel Lehotsky, Piers McGowin, Anthony Qemali, Ilet Souterland, Gus Williams, Ty Wilson and Omar Nunez Zermano. Warner Miller is the head coach.

The 2022-23 Rabun Gap boys lacrosse team

The Rabun Gap boys lacrosse team has gotten off to an 8-1 start to their season, including a 7-6 victory over Greensboro Day School on Saturday, April 1. The Eagles played at Asheville School on Wednesday, April 5 before taking on Asheville High School on Tuesday, April 11.

The 2022-23 Rabun Gap baseball team

The Rabun Gap baseball team is now 9-1 on the season thanks to a 6-2 victory over conference opponent Charlotte Christian School on Saturday, April 1. The Eagles host Asheville Christian Academy on Thursday, April 6 with the game beginning at 5 p.m.

Goalie Thompson signs to play soccer at Truett McConnell

Rabun County senior goalkeeper Hannah Thompson signed her collegiate letter to play soccer at Truett McConnell University on Wednesday, March 29. Thompson, who started playing goalkeeper in middle school, said she had never thought about playing soccer in college.

RCHS track and field nears end of season with two meets remaining after spring break

The Rabun County track and field team competed against Commerce and Oglethorpe County on Thursday, March 30. After the meet, the team is now on spring break with their next match at Chestatee on Wednesday, April 12.

Indians baseball takes series against BASA with nine games remaining

The Indians completed a three-game series sweep of Barrow Arts & Sciences Academy with a Friday double header sweep on the road. TFS took game one 11-1 and followed it up with a 15-0 blowout in the finale. In the first game on Tuesday, March 28, the Indians only gave up one hit in a 10-0 victory.

RCHS soccer wins thriller over BASA

The Rabun County soccer teams honored their seniors with two victories over Barrow Arts and Sciences Academy on Friday, March 24. Both the boys and girls teams are now in third place in the region with only one game left in the regular season.

TFS baseball falls on final out to No. 1 Prince Avenue Christian

The Indians dropped a 10-3 final on the road Tuesday evening, March 21, at Prince Avenue Christian in a game in which TFS held a brief lead. TFS scored first in the second frame on a Zaiden Cox RBI groundout.
