Rabun County baseball eliminated from postseason play

The Rabun County baseball team has fallen to 1-11 in region play after losing the season series against Commerce and Tallulah Falls. After falling 5-1 at Commerce on Tuesday, March 28, the Wildcats hosted Commerce for a double header on Friday, March 31.

Trout stocking trucks ready to roll to North Georgia waterways, stock 60 waterways in first five days

GAINESVILLE, Ga. (Mar. 23, 2022) – The last week of March hitting the calendar means trout stocking trucks hitting the road headed to your favorite North Georgia waterways. Trout fishing opportunities will be abundant as the Georgia Trout Program returns to stocking over one million trout in 2023.

Rabun County soccer flips into playoff mindset

Both Rabun County soccer teams have completed the regular season and are now waiting for their playoff opponents. The Lady Cats have clinched the No. 3 seed in the region, with the Wildcats in the No. 4 seed.

Undefeated Lady Eagles head into conference play

The Rabun Gap girls soccer team is now 8-0-1 as the midway point of the season approaches. Against Lakeview Academy on Friday, March 24, the Lady Eagles cruised to a 5-0 victory. Junior Georgia Mattis recorded a hat trick, with junior Gracie Scott and freshman Laea Blakeley adding goals as well.

TFS precision rifle places 10th in state

Tallulah Falls competed for a second straight season at the GHSA state championships, this year at the University of North Georgia. A year after finishing ninth at state, the team again showed they were one of the best in the state with a 10th-place finish.
