NOTICE OF REZONING
PUBLIC HEARING
A hearing will be held at Clayton City Hall located at 837 Highway 76 West, Clayton, Georgia, before the Planning and Zoning Board on Thursday, October 1, 2026, at 5:00 pm in the City of Clayton Conference Room.
The purpose of this hearing is to receive comments for the proposals to rezone 434 Warwoman Road, which is zoned R1, to Neighborhood Shopping and 436 Warwoman Road, which is zoned R2, to Neighborhood Shopping in accordance with City Code 46-591.
The plat and letter of intent are available to review at City Hall in the Planning and Zoning office.
The meeting will be conducted in accordance with City Code 46-598. If the Planning & Zoning Board recommends the rezoning request, it will go before the City Council for final approval at their next meeting scheduled on October 13, 2026.

Also, conveyed is a perpetual non-exclusive easement over and across a gravel drive twelve feet (12) in width extending from the northeast corner of the above described property to the public road system of Rabun County, Georgia, said road being shown in part on a plat of survey recorded in the office of the Clerk of Rabun Superior Court in Plat Book 38, Page 235.
Parcel Two:
All that tract or parcel of land lying and being in Land Lot 7 of the 5th District of Rabun County, Georgia and containing 1.65 acres, more or less, as described upon a plat of survey dated October 27, 1997, prepared by William F. Rolader, Georgia Registered Land Surveyor No. 2042, said survey being recorded in the office of the Clerk of Rabun Superior Court in Plat Book 38, Page 234. Said survey is incorporated herein by reference for full and complete description of the above described lands.
There is also conveyed a perpetual non-exclusive easement over and across a soil drive fourteen feet in width (14) and a gravel drive twelve feet (12) in width crossing lands immediately west of the subject property and extending to the public road system of Rabun County, Georgia.
