BOE votes to opt-out of HB 581

Megan Horn/The Clayton Tribune. Rabun County Board of Education members voted unanimously on Tuesday morning to opt out of the HB 581 Floating Homestead Exemption during a special called meeting. Board members held four public hearings on the matter prior to the vote (only three were required).
