Enoch Autry/The Clayton Tribune. The float with the “Best Theme” for this year’s “I’ll Be Home For Christmas” was awarded to Poss Realty. On the Poss Realty float, a map of Rabun County was shown with its municipalities and other residential spots of Clayton, Dillard, Lakemont, Lake Burton, Lake Rabun, Mountain City, Rabun Gap, Seed Lake, Sky Valley, Tallulah Falls, Tiger and Wiley.

The chill in the air did not cool down the spirit of the season as Clayton held its Christmas Parade and followed up the annual event on Dec. 8 with the lighting of the large candle in downtown.
