An election debate will be Oct. 11 at the Rabun County Civic Center for the two contested post seats for the Clayton city council.
The Wednesday debate that is free to attend begins at 6 p.m.
The candidates for Post 3 are Tony Allen and Andrew Green, while the candidates for Post 4 are Sarah Gillespie and incumbent David Cross.
The Post 3 currently is held by Woody Blalock, who chose to not qualify again for the seat.
The four candidates will be on the Nov. 7 ballot for Clayton city residents.
The debate is sponsored by The Clayton Tribune, Rabun County Democratic Party, Rabun County Republican Party, and Rabun County Coalition For Good Government.
The debate will involve prepared questions and also questions that will come those who attend in-person at the civic center.
