Mountain Lakes Medical Center food services recently received a 100 score from the health department for the third year.

“We at Mountain Lakes Medical Center would like to recognize and congratulate our Food Services staff who just received their third 100 percent score on their Health Department Inspection,” said Matthew Miles, director of community relations for Mountain Lakes Medical Center.

Miles said the Food Service Guidelines for Federal Facilities is one of the most comprehensive and strict guidelines in the industry. It includes standards for food and nutrition, facility efficiency, environmental support, community development, food safety, and behavioral design.

“Meeting these standards ensures a better patient experience, which we strive to do every day here at Mountain Lakes Medical Center. We are very proud of our Food Service team and are fortunate to have them at our hospital,” Miles said.

He said Mountain Lakes Medical Center is your hometown hospital committed to excellence.
