In December 2023, Richard’s Kids was awarded a $6,500 grant from the North Georgia Community Foundation (NGCF) through its 2023 Community Grant Cycle. Here, Carolyn Dillard, president of the Richard’s Kids board of directors, is presented the award, which was used this past Christmas to buy school clothing for students with needs in the Rabun County public school system. Pictured (from left) is Margaux Dolenc, NGCF senior director of grants and community partnerships; Michelle Prater, NGCF president and CEO; Dillard, holding the check; and Blair Diaz, NGCF 2022-2023 board chair. Richard’s Kids has been reflecting the love of Christ to children in need in Rabun County for about 25 years.
