GAINESVILLE, GA – The North Georgia Community Foundation (NGCF), has announced the 2024 scholarship cycle is now officially open.

Students have until March 1 at 5 p.m. to apply for available scholarship opportunities they are eligible for.

The Foundation currently administers 82 scholarship funds, reflecting the generosity of their fundholders who have the shared belief in the transformative power of education.

In the 2023 scholarship cycle, NGCF awarded 269 scholarships totaling an impressive $559,400.

More scholarships funds were established in the past year, offering new opportunities for the 2024 cycle.

We are thankful for our scholarship fundholders who have chosen to invest in the lives of students throughout the North Georgia region,” said a spokesperson for NGCF. “By providing these scholarship opportunities, they are truly embodying our mission of enhancing the quality of life in our community.”

Interested applicants are urged to visit the NGCF website at www.ngcf.org/scholarships to explore the scholarships available for graduating high school seniors, individuals currently in college, and non-traditional students.

Each scholarship has different criteria and eligibility requirements; the deadline for all the scholarships is March 1 at 5 p.m.
