Megan Horn/The Clayton Tribune. Retired U.S. Air Force Major Buzzy Frysinger was the guest speaker at the Nov. 11 Veterans Day Ceremony held at Veterans Park. Frysinger is a retired command pilot with over 10,000 hours of flying time. He served in Vietnam, The Cold War, and Desert Storm. Frysinger currently lives in Tiger. Megan Horn/The Clayton Tribune. SVCDR David Cross, American Legion Post 220, and CDR Gary Cantwell, V.F.W. Post 4570, raised and then lowered the flag to half mast while veterans saluted in solidarity.

Veterans Day is an important time to thank those brave men and women who made many sacrifices so we in the United States can live freely.
