Rabun County Wildcats
Due to COVID protocols and in the interest of player safety, Rabun County High has had to cancel its Friday, Sept. 3, game at Eagle's Landing Christian Academy, according to a statement from head football coach and athletic director Jaybo Shaw posted to the Rabun County football Twitter page.
"Our number one priority is the safety and well-being of our student-athletes," Shaw said. "We look forward to hopefully returning to competition as soon as the safety of our student-athletes is ensured."
Shaw said Walhalla (S.C.) High has had to cancel its Friday, Sept. 10, game with the Wildcats due to COVID protocols and student-athlete safety. "We are looking to try and replace both games later in the schedule," he said.
