Lampros, Gober reunite at Bicentennial Fun Run

CLAYTON — Anthony Lampros carried the torch. Guy Gober carried the flag. The two distance running specialists reunited for Rabun County’s Bicentennial Torch and Flag Fun Run on Saturday morning.

CLAYTON— Parking, zoning, transportation and affordable housing were hot topics discussed at a meeting for the Rabun County Joint Comprehensive Plan held at the Clayton Municipal Complex on Monday.

CLAYTON— Beechwood Inn is known as Georgia’s premier wine country inn and has once again been honored for its wine program with the Wine Spectator Restaurant Award of Excellence for 2019.

A year later, SDS is still stalled

CLAYTON—More than a year after all parties agreed on a mediator to lead proceedings in the costly Service Delivery Strategy (SDS) dispute between the county, the city of Clayton and other municipalities, the matter is no closer to being resolved. In fact, mediation hasn’t even started.

Torch Run to commemorate '96 Olympic event Saturday

CLAYTON—Runners, walkers, visitors and locals are invited to take part in the Bicentennial Torch and Flag Run Saturday morning in Clayton.
