Local cancer fund charity board elects new officers

The Sid Weber Memorial Cancer Fund recently held its annual meeting at the Sky Valley Country Club and elected new officers for the coming year. Ken Walton, of Sky Valley, was elected president, replacing Jennifer Arbitter of Clayton. Ms.

TFS senior creates winning design for ride shirt

A Tallulah Falls School senior created the winning design for the 2022 Twin Rivers Challenge T-shirt. Kaylin Neal of Flowery Branch merged the vibrant fall colors, a bicycle graphic, a river and the shape of state of Georgia to commemorate the event.

Cyclists return to Northeast Georgia for Twin Rivers Challenge in Rabun

On a breathtakingly beautiful autumn day, cyclists from across the Southeast took on the eighth annual Twin Rivers Challenge, hosted by Tallulah Falls School. Held Oct. 22, the event proved to be a draw for local and visiting riders, adding more than $90,000 to the school’s scholarship fund.

TFS learning resource center expanded for new academic year

Tallulah Falls School has added new faculty and space to support students for the 2022-23 academic year. Jane Johnston is the new Learning Center Coordinator with Rainen Wade serving as the International Learning Counselor.

President’s Advisory Council meets at TFS

The President’s Advisory Council members met on Oct. 4 in a quarterly gathering at Tallulah Falls School. President and Head of School Dr. Larry A. Peevy recruits members to serve in a volunteer capacity to provide feedback from a parental perspective.
