12 seniors sign at Rabun Gap spring ceremony

A dozen Rabun Gap-Nacoochee School seniors signed to continue their athletic and arts careers at the next level on Wednesday, April 20 during the School’s spring signing ceremony. Signees included Eryn Blakeley of Saint Michael, Barbados (Brenau University golf); Nate Brafford of Waynesville, N.C.

Wildcats on track to solid postseason

The arrival of the track postseason arrives with Rabun County’s student-athletes getting a leg up on the competition. Multiple first places, personal bests and even a school record surges RCHS track into region with sectionals and Class AA state on the horizon.

Boys lacrosse wins back-to-back at home Wednesday, April 20 Rabun Gap- 16; ASHEVILLE HS- 5 The Eagles dominated their first game of the week when they hosted Asheville High School for a Community Night. The team put on a show for their fans, winning by a score of 16-5.

Indians’ precision rifle completes season as one of state’s best

The Precision Rifle team took their aim at history in 2022, and did not fall short. A young yet promising group, guided by first-year head coach Katie Keister and coach Tim Stamey, quickly emerged as one of the state’s top programs.

Young TFS rifle team makes history at state championships

A young and ambitious Tallulah Falls Precision Rifle team traveled to Statesboro to compete at Georgia Southern University in the GHSA State Championships. TFS entered as one of only two teams in Class 1A Private that qualified for the event, as a grand total of 17 teams were represented.

TFS golf season concludes

In a season that opened a new era for Tallulah Falls golf, both the girls and boys teams showed tremendous growth from start to finish. In coach Hannah Satterfield’s first season as the head coach, the girls and boys showed what they are capable of, as well as how their future success is imminent.
