Bass fishing wraps up season with state tournament success

The TFS bass fishing program wrapped up its 2022 season over the weekend while competing in the two-day Georgia Bass Nation State Tournament. The high school duo of Haygen James and Koen Eller placed 44th overall, hauling in 15.02 pounds over the two days.

Longtime Indians tennis coach Morris moves into new role within program

Longtime TFS tennis coach Randy Morris is moving to a new role within the Tallulah Falls tennis program. After more than two decades of fostering relationships with countless student athletes, he will continue to develop those relationships in the sport of tennis in a new position.

State Final Four

The Rabun County girls tennis team’s history-making run ended May 5 on the blue courts of Pace Academy in the Class AA state tournament Final Four. The 4-0 loss for the Ladycats in Atlanta was the girls tennis program’s first-ever appearance in the GHSA semifinals.

RCHS basketball holds week-long hoops camp at rec

Fresh off a Class AA state runner-up season, Rabun County High School girls head coach Dee Dee Dillard, assistant coach Mackenzie Darrah and 16 Ladycats hosted a basketball camp during the week of May 16 at the county recreation department.
