When the dust settled on the 2021-22 season, it was nothing short of ‘sweet’ for the Indians. Tallulah Falls made history with the program’s third-ever Sweet 16 and similarly third-ever 20-win season. The Indians were state-ranked the entire season, climbing to as high as No.
RGNS Athletics. The Rabun Gap-Nacoochee School girls basketball team celebrates their historic championship victory on Saturday at Wingate University. The Lady Eagles defeated North Raleigh Christian Academy 36-33 to claim the program’s first-ever state championship. RGNS completed its season with a 23-6 record.

Sweet 16 sours on Wildcats in OT

One of the best seasons in the history of Rabun County Wildcat basketball ended Feb. 25 in the Sweet 16 in a 72-63 overtime loss. The loss results in the the conclusion of some of the most prominent seniors in all the years of RCHS basketball.
