RCHS soccer teams wrap up regular season next week

The Rabun County soccer teams only have two more region games remaining in the season as they look to lock up a playoff spot.   BOYS The Rabun County boys team is now 7-5 after falling to Elbert County 4-3 in double overtime on Tuesday, March 14.

Wildcat baseball battling for playoff spot in region

The Rabun County baseball team is battling for a playoff spot halfway through the season. Led by head coach Wesley Satterfield, the Wildcat baseball team is off to a slow start after playing against the top two teams in the region in Athens Christian and Elbert County.

RCHS golf aims for state after historic season

After a season where they took third in state, the Rabun County golfers are off to a solid start to the 2023 season.

RCHS track hosts more meets during season to prepare for state

The Rabun County track and field team, under a new head coach, is building their regular season in preparation for the region and state tournaments.

RCHS tennis honors seniors as season nears end

After making history last year, the Rabun County tennis teams are seeking another deep run in the state playoffs. After last year’s Lady Cat team made the Final Four for the first time in program history, head coach Bryan Getty is leading a deep roster for both the boys and the girls.

RCHS hosts five schools at Bo James Invitational

The Rabun County cross country teams hosted the Bo James Invitational on Saturday, March 11, with five other schools in attendance. In RCHS’s third track meet of the year, the Wildcats competed against Seneca (S.C.), Franklin County, Hart County, Tallulah Falls, and Habersham Central.

Rabun Gap girls soccer starts off undefeated in first five games

The Rabun Gap-Nacoochee girls soccer team is off to a 4-0-1 start to their season after winning all three games last week. The Lady Eagles started with a 3-2 victory over Bob Jones Academy on Tuesday, March 7. Goals were scored by freshman Lea Blakeley, who scored twice, and sophomore Katie Barta.

Wildcat baseball hits four-game skid with Athens Christian losses

The Rabun County baseball team is now 5-4 after falling to Athens Christian in all three contests last week. Traveling to Athens on Tuesday, March 7, the Wildcats lost 11-1 before hosting a doubleheader on Friday, March 10.

Higbie sets two school records as Lady Indians reach 7-2 record

Both Tallulah Falls soccer teams have begun 2023 strong.   girls Addie Higbie eclipsed a pair of school records on Thursday night at Elbert, helping guide the No. 8-ranked Lady Indians to an 8-1 win. The region win was a second in a row for TFS.

TFS baseball makes school history with victory over No. 1 Elbert County

The Indians went to Elberton and gave the No. 1-ranked Blue Devils all they could handle, forcing Elbert County to win on the final at-bat with a walk-off 7-6 win. TFS put the pressure on early with a pair of runs in the first, but an Elbert four-run second gave the home team the 5-2 lead.
