RCHS football to face Commerce, former Wildcat head coach Davis

After a 31-point win over Athens Academy to begin region play, the Rabun County High School football team will face arguably its biggest test yet on Friday night. The Wildcats (4-2, 1-0) will travel to region opponent and undefeated Commerce (6-0, 1-0), ranked No. 7 in Class AA.

RGNS football returns to action with road trip to rival Christ School

The No. 93 nationally ranked Rabun Gap-Nacoochee School football team will return to the gridiron this Friday after a bye week when RGNS travels to league opponent and rival, Christ School.

TIGER – Rabun County’s defense forced four turnovers on Friday night and scored two touchdowns as the RCHS football team shut out Athens Academy at home, 31-0 to begin region play on “Hall of Fame” and “Rec Night.”

The Rabun County High School softball team saw its season come to an end on Monday, Oct. 13, in the first round of the Georgia High School Association (GHSA) state playoffs at the hands of No. 7 seeded Vidalia.

RABUN GAP – The nationally ranked Rabun Gap-Nacoochee School boys soccer program fell 2-0 to bitter rival Christ School at home on Thursday, Oct 8. It was Christ School’s second win over RGNS this season and fifth win in a row in the rivalry.
