The Rabun County recreational cross country team competed in last Saturday’s league meet in Morgan County where the Wildcats competed against 17 other teams … and once again saw new personal-bests for each runner.

Lady Devils use late inning rally to top Lady Cats 13-5

The Rabun County High School softball team lost its second matchup against Elbert County 13-5 on Tuesday night in Tiger.  Through the first five innings, the Lady Devils held on tight to just a 4-3 lead. However ECHS rallied for nine runs on five hits across the final two innings.

Eagles dethrone Knights on road, 28-13

The Rabun Gap-Nacoochee School football team defeated the Charlotte Christian Knights 28-13 in their seventh-straight victory this season.  As it has been for the past three weeks, the Eagles have set a new record for most wins without a loss in a season.

Wildcats outrun Paladins, 42-28

The No. 4 Rabun County Wildcat football team defeated the Fellowship Christian School Paladins 42-28 in last Friday’s home game in Tiger. Prior to their loss, the Paladins were the sixth-best team in Georgia Class 2A.
