There are many personal events people go through that make them want to give back and go the extra mile to help those in need. Those who participated in the Trailblaze Challenge for Make-A-Wish Georgia trekked through 22 strenuous miles on the Bartram Trail Nov.

Kemp wants to accelerate state income tax cuts

ATLANTA – Gov. Brian Kemp said on Dec. 4 he will ask Georgia lawmakers to provide additional tax relief during the upcoming legislative session by accelerating a state income tax cut lawmakers adopted last year. House Bill 1437 set in place a reduction in the state’s income tax rate from 5.
