Commissioners approve first reading to amend Short-Term Rentals county zoning ordinance

CLAYTON– The first reading of amendments to the zoning ordinance for Short-Term Rentals was approved by commissioners at the Sept. 27 Rabun County Board of Commissioners meeting.

Elections office gears up for early voting to start Monday

The Rabun County Board of Elections Office is gearing up for Election Day as early voting starts Monday, Oct. 17. Voters can cast their ballots at the Rabun County Board of Elections Office, 184 South Main Street, Suite 102, Clayton, during early voting Oct. 17-22, Oct. 24-29, and Oct. 31-Nov.

Rabun County Schools cut ribbon on Agri-Science Center

TIGER– The Rabun County Schools Agri-Science Center plants the seed of success for Future Farmers of America (FFA) students as they get hands-on experience learning about all that farming has to offer in the state-of-the-art facility. The ribbon cutting ceremony was held Oct.

CLAYTON– The Rabun County Sheriff’s Office along with the faith community and other law enforcement agencies will host a drive-thru food and diaper distribution at the Food Bank of Northeast Georgia on Saturday, Oct. 8, from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m.
