FAITH holds downtown Hope Walk for ‘Domestic Violence Awareness Month’

The Rabun County Sheriff’s Office, other law enforcement agencies and the faith community came together October 8 at the Food Bank of Northeast Georgia to distribute food, diapers and educational resources to community members during National Faith & Blue Weekend. Law enforcement personnel with Safe Kids Rabun conducted car and booster seat safety checks and car seat technicians were available to check seats for proper fit and installation.

The forum stayed to its set 90-minute time, but more wanted to speak. Commissioner Scott Crane with Commissioner Kent Woerner hosted the event.
