CLAYTON—Mountain Lakes Medical Center is under unified ownership and new corporate management for the first time in more than a decade.
The 65,000 sq.-ft. critical care facility is now fully owned by Robert Lubin, an immigration attorney and investor from Herndon, Va.

Va. man drowns at Lake Burton

LAKE BURTON— Officials confirmed Sunday a 57-year-old man died in a drowning accident at Lake Burton.
The body of Keith Levitt Hill, of Virginia was recovered after emergency personnel were dispatched to 2812 Meeting House Mtn. Rd. following a call that came in at approximately 10:25 a.m.

CLAYTON— Two historic buildings in downtown Clayton might face demolition in the near future, the Downtown Development Authority (DDA) learned Tuesday.
The authority also discussed the Wilson Alley parking lot deeded to them by the city at Tuesday’s meeting.
