Follow the creatively done hay bales to Sky Valley’s Fall Fest this weekend

They say all roads lead to Rome, but travelers can follow the Sky Valley Hay Bale Trail to the city’s annual Fall Festival. The event promises to offer fun activities, live music and good food for the whole family on Saturday, Oct. 21, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Work on Rabun Gap’s Hodgson Hall underway

The restoration and renovation of Hodgson Hall, the historic academic building at Rabun Gap-Nacoochee School that sits high on the hill above Highway 441, is well underway. This marks the school’s largest and most historic building project on campus.

Hunter Funeral Home showcases renovations at Open House

Hunter Funeral Home (Mr. David Oberley & Family), a Forward Rabun/Rabun County Chamber of Commerce Silver Business Member, held a fantastic Ribbon-Cutting & Open House for their newly renovated facility on Friday, Sept. 29. The renovations were spectacular and the attendance was great at this event!

Celebrating 100 years on Main Street

A joyous celebration will be experienced on Sunday, Oct. 22, as the congregation of Clayton’s First United Methodist Church meets at the downtown sanctuary on Main Street to worship and praise the Lord for its 100 years of success in the heart of Clayton’s business district.
