CLAYTON— There’s no place like home and after serving almost eight years as the Rabun County Library Manager, Stephanie Howard is moving back to her hometown of Pickens County, S.C. for a new job prospect.

DILLARD—For 23 years, the Dillard Bluegrass and Barbecue Benefit Festival has been playing to packed houses. Yet it may be one of the community’s best-kept secrets. “We’ve attracted as many as 5,000 people,” said Hank Belew of Clayton, one of the organizers of the event.
