Hailey Smith took home the award for Judges’ Choice and Ashlynn Blackwell took home the award for Fan Favorite. Nathaniel Burrell, Kyleigh Sliker, and Emma Rose Hunter also competed in the event. Emceed for the night was Jocelyn Gaspar, Beverly Diaz and Kiley Turner. Judges were Allen Blair, Alicia Kilby and Daven Vandenberg.

A hearing at the Rabun County Planning and Zoning Commission meeting March 28 turned out a packed room as the Rabun County Planning and Zoning Commission unanimously voted to recommend denial of a rezoning request for property off of Highway 76 East from Agricultural (A) to Commercial Business (CB) for the purpose of building storage units.
