GDPH now confirming 3 COVID-19 cases in Rabun County

The Georgia Department of Health has issued their 7 p.m. update on COVID-19. One new case was reported in Rabun County.  The state has reported three confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Rabun County as of Saturday, April 4.  The website, https://dph.georgia.

Rabun County Schools providing art supplies with meal pickup

TIGER-- Rabun County Schools will be handing out bags of art supplies with meal distribution on Monday, April 6.  There will be one bag per family and it includes colored pencils, crayons, markers, pencils and paper.

Noon Update: No new COVID-19 cases in Rabun County reported by state

The Georgia Department of Health has issued their noon update on COVID-19, and no new cases were reported. The state reported two confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Rabun County on Tuesday. The website, https://dph.georgia.gov/covid-19-daily-status-report, is updated at noon and 7 p.m. daily.

CLAYTON—The Georgia Department of Public Health confirmed two cases of COVID-19 in Rabun County Tuesday. More than a half-dozen more tests from Rabun County are known to be awaiting results. Officials expect the number of confirmed COVID-19 cases to continue to climb locally.

County schools remain closed through at least April 24

TIGER— Rabun County students have been doing their schoolwork from home amidst the COVID-19 pandemic, and school officials say they are continuing to work hard to ensure the students have the resources they need to be successful and have meals to eat during this time. Georgia Gov.
