Sid Weber annual July 4 BBQ tix going fast

Tickets for the Sid Weber Memorial Cancer Fund Charity Annual Barbeque are selling quickly and interested parties are urged to purchase immediately. The BBQ will be held from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Saturday, July 5, in conjunction with the City of Sky Valley’s Independence Day Celebration.

County inmate death investigated by GBI

The Georgia Bureau of Investigation (GBI) is conducting an independent investigation into the in-custody death of 22-year-old Jacie Louise Harrison of Clayton while she was being housed at the Rabun County Detention Center.
