RCHS Class of 2024 top three students looking forward to a new chapter after graduation

Rabun County High School (RCHS) seniors in the Class of 2024 are set to graduate next month as they complete their last assignments and prepare for their post-secondary education goals.

Local Rabun County Fire Services firefighter Jerry Buice is used to a career filled with high stress and unpredictability, but when it comes to revving the engine of his race car and rolling those tires on the dirt track it’s a different feeling altogether.

1,800 RCWSA customers mistakenly billed for sewer services in recent cycle

Former City of Clayton water customers might see an extra charge in their first bill with the Rabun County Water and Sewer Authority (RCWSA) as over 1,800 customers were “inadvertently” charged by the Authority for sewer services they did not receive.

City of Clayton shifting its focus to roads and sidewalks

With the consolidation of the water and sewer infrastructure with the Rabun County Water and Sewer Authority (RCWSA) now official, the City of Clayton is shifting focus to improving roads and sidewalks within the city.

National Child Abuse Prevention Month

The month of April is National Child Abuse Prevention Month and local organizations Fight Abuse In The Home (F.A.I.T.H.) and Rabun County Division of Family and Children Services (DFCS) are organizing events to bring awareness to the important initiative.
