Ladycats win a thriller over Franklin 51-47

TIGER – The Ladycats lost a fourth quarter lead, trailed late in the game but pulled out an exciting 51-47 win over the Panthers on Dec. 21. The Ladycat press generated five early turnovers as the Deetz sisters jumped the Ladycats to a 7-0 lead to start the game.

Wildcats come back to beat Tallulah Falls

Rabun County’s Gus Hood could not bear to watch. Tallulah Falls center Matthew Weidner’s 3-point attempt at the buzzer bounced once, then up off the rim a second time, but it was unable to complete the Kawhi Leonard-style miracle, preserving the Wildcats’ 50-47 comeback win Friday night.

Boys fall, Ladycats remain undefeated

TOCCOA – The Rabun County Wildcats basketball teams faced the Stephens County Indians at the Currahee Arena on Tuesday to mixed results. The Ladycats came away with a hard fought 53-46 win to remain undefeated while the boys fell 67-51.
