Rabun County High School football returns to action this week on the road versus Dalton after having a bye last week. The Wildcats, who still sit at 2-0 and ranked sixth in the state, are looking to regain the momentum they had after wins versus White County and Fannin County previously.

Tallulah Falls’ all-time winningest coach Matt Heyl reached a new milestone with his 200th career win with the Lady Indians volleyball team. The win came on Sept. 2 with a 2-0 victory over George Walton in front of the home crowd.

What a weekend it was for Rabun County Recreation Department cross country as the team again traveled to Athens. The morning started out cool and beautiful, but it didn’t take long for the sun to heat up —and just like the weather, the Rabun runners caught fire once the gun went off.

CHATTANOOGA – Nationally ranked No. 32 Rabun Gap-Nacoochee School football fell to No. 67 Baylor School on Friday night 35-34 as the home team got a touchdown by Baylor running back David Gabriel-Georges with 3:06 remaining to claim the win.

Rabun Gap-Nacoochee School boys soccer is off to a blazing start on its pursuit of a fifth consecutive state championship. After the team’s first five games, the Eagles are 5-0 and No. 12 nationally ranked, according to MaxPreps.
