Tallulah Falls Aquatics, a swim team comprised of several members of the Tallulah Falls School swim team, competed July 11-12 in the GRPA Class B State Swim Championships in Moultrie, Ga. Several TFS swimmers won gold in a great showing for Tallulah Falls Aquatics.

Lots to celebrate at Rabun Ramble

The 19th annual Rabun Ramble continued its strong run of participation during a busy Fourth of July weekend for its 5K and 10K on the hilly and winding terrain course around Lake Rabun. A total of 884 ran or walked either the 3.1-mile or 6.
Submitted. The RCHS girls basketball team competed in several camps this past June, including a trip to the University of West Georgia. During FCA camp earlier in June, junior guards Addy Beth Owens and Adelyn Thompson won the three-point contest at Emmanuel University.

4 players, a team going into Rabun Hall

Four individuals and one team will join the Rabun County High School Athletic Hall of Fame in 2025. The new inductees will be recognized in a pre-game ceremony on Friday, Aug. 15, prior to the season-opening football game pitting Rabun against White County at Frank Snyder Memorial Stadium.

The Lake Burton Fun Run returned for its 41st running around the largest lake in Northeast Georgia, as thousands celebrated the Fourth of July weekend on Saturday, July 5.

A farewell from a thankful sports editor

Last week I accepted an offer to become the sports information specialist for Hebron Christian Academy in Dacula, Ga.  Tuesday, July 15, will be my first day in this position, meaning Monday, July 14, will be my last day as the sports editor for The Clayton Tribune.

Tallulah Falls School has tabbed Jamie Jimison as its new head cross country and track and field coach ahead of the 2025-2026 academic year.  Jimison also will serve as the assistant athletic director.
