Indians soccer punches Final Four ticket in big win over Riverside

Four goals from Bogdan Jesic and a smothering defense led to a 4-1 win over Riverside at home for the No. 1 Tallulah Falls School soccer team on Saturday, May 17.  The Indians defeated the No. 8 Eagles to punch the program’s first-ever Final-Four ticket.

Dodgers win 12-and-under title for Rabun Little League

The Dodgers of the Rabun County Little League finished the 2025 season as 12-and-under champions.  More beloved than that of the Atlanta Braves’ newfound rival, the Los Angeles Dodgers, the 12U Dodgers finished the season 11-1 with a slew of outstanding hitters.

Gridiron Wildcats battle against themselves in annual spring game

The Rabun County High School football team touched Levii’s Rock and played under the lights of Frank Snyder Memorial Stadium for the first time of 2025 in the Wildcats’ annual spring game.

Cats Diaz, Hulsey show out in state golf tournament

The Rabun County High School golf team traveled to Elbert County for this year’s Class A-Division I state tournament on Monday, May 19, and Tuesday, May 20.

Tallulah Falls track teams excel at state with multiple personal bests

“Best Year Ever” – that’s the motto in which coach Scott Neal challenged his team with this spring.  And they delivered. The Lady Indians came in fourth at the state championship meet, marking literally the best-ever finish at the state level.

Diamond Indians’ season ends with first-round series loss to Stratford

The seventh-ranked Tallulah Falls School baseball team dropped its playoff-opening series to No. 9 Stratford Academy (Macon) on Friday, May 9.  The Indians lost a tough 8-6 decision in Game 1 before a 12-2 finale.

Trio headlines Rabun track and field at state; Lopez places second in shot put; Flaherty fourth in pole vault; and Kitchens seventh in high jump

The Georgia Class A-Division I track and field state championship meet concluded last Saturday, May 10, after a two-day event that saw Wildcats fare well against other top student-athletes. Overall, 12 Wildcats and Lady Cats made the trip to Rome, Ga.

‘Prepared for this moment': Rabun Gap lacrosse on to first Final Four in young history

In 2022, the Rabun Gap-Nacoochee School boys lacrosse team began a new era with its first season as a varsity program.  In just its fourth season, the Eagles advanced to their first-ever semifinal game in the NCISAA 4A state playoffs after defeating Charlotte Latin 10-2 at home on Friday, May 9.
