Rabun baseball falls short in first-round series with Bremen

The 2025 season came to an end for the Rabun County High School baseball team when the No. 19 Wildcats fell in back-to-back matchups at Bremen in the first round of the Georgia Class A-DI state tournament on Friday, April 25.

RCHS boys tennis finishes second in region; girls third in tourney

ATHENS – The Rabun County High School boys and girls tennis teams traveled down to the Classic City and tested their luck in this year’s Georgia Class 8A-Division I region tournament on Tuesday, April 15, and Wednesday, April 16.

POST G-DAY: A few names to keep in mind this Fall for Georgia football

There was a certain scent in the air last Saturday in Athens.  Maybe it was the many Chick-fil-A sandwiches consumed by Georgia football fans, or the smoke that descended down onto Dooley Field from Sanford Stadium’s newly added firework armada.  However, maybe it wasn’t a scent at all.
