Rabun County High School named former North Gwinnett High School football coach and recent Georgia Tech defensive analyst Bill Stewart as its new defensive coordinator and strength and conditioning coach on Friday, March 14.

The Tallulah Falls School track and field team competed on Saturday, March 8, at East Jackson High School, with several putting up personal-records (PR).
TFS Athletics. The TFS precision rifle team competed in the National Championship Qualifier at Georgia Military College on March 8, finishing second and qualifying for the national championship at Camp Perry, Ohio in July.

Diamond Wildcats lose home run on controversial call, fall 3-2 in Banks opener

The Rabun County High School baseball team fell 3-2 to region opponent Banks County on Tuesday, March 11.  The Wildcats held a 1-0 lead over the Leopards through the fourth inning – three runs across the top-halves of the sixth and seventh innings gave Banks a late lead.

Rabun native Gillespie named as new Rabun head football coach; set to lead hometown ‘Cats

TIGER, GA – Rabun County High School has named Rabun native and two-time Atlanta Journal-Constitution (AJC) Coach of the Year recipient (2005, 2006) Rance Gillespie as its new head football coach, following the RCHS coaching retirement of Michael Davis on Feb. 27.

Storm ends Diamond ‘Cats three-game win streak

The Rabun County High School baseball team is off to a strong start to the 2025 season.  After nine games, the Wildcats are 7-2, but most recently fell 13-6 in their first region game of the season, losing to Providence Christian Academy.

Davis retires as Rabun head football coach

The search has begun for a successor to lead the Rabun County High School Wildcat football program after head coach Michael Davis announced his retirement on Thursday, Feb. 27.
