Wildcats remain strong in region play

It continues to be a historical season for the Rabun County High School boys basketball team as the Wildcats continued their dominance of Georgia Class A-Division I Region 8 with blowout wins over Region opponents Athens Academy and Elbert County.

Tallulah Falls School’s star center back, Josie Chesser, has inked her paperwork to play with Southern Wesleyan University and will continue her soccer and academic career for the Warriors of SWU, an NCAA D-II member of the Conference Carolinas.

Wildcats colonize Patriots in 40-point rout at home

As if the first wasn’t enough, the Oglethorpe County Patriots received another thorough defeat of 66-26 from the Rabun County High School boys basketball team on Saturday, Jan. 18.  The Wildcats previously defeated Oglethorpe 71-39 on Friday, Dec. 13.

Record set, seniors/alumni honored as TFS hosts, wins ‘Light of the Mountains’ Invite

The Tallulah Falls School swimming team hosted a total of 14 teams in the ‘Light of the Mountains’ Invitational on Saturday, Jan. 18, with both the girls and boys coming in first place in a stellar showing.

Late push gives visiting Storm win over Lady Cats

The Rabun County High School girls basketball team came up short to region opponent Providence Christian 50-40 at home on Thursday, Jan. 9.  With the loss, the Lady Cats dropped to 9-7 on the season and 1-4 in region play.

Wildcats escape Storm in 56-49 victory over Providence Christian

The Wildcats are off to a historical start to the 2024-25 season as the Rabun County High School boys basketball team has been triumphant in 15 of its first 18 games.

Rabun hoops battle Banks in early region contest

The Rabun County High School girls and boys basketball teams split region bouts in Homer with Banks County on Tuesday, Jan. 7.  In the evening slate of games, the Lady Cats lost to the Lady Leopards 59-45, while the Wildcats carried away an 81-48 victory in the boys game.
