RCHS hoops get non-region tests with Towns, Lassiter

The Rabun County High School boys and girls basketball teams both got a couple early non-region tests this previous week.  The Wildcats and Lady Cats hosted Towns County on Tuesday, Nov. 19, and both came out with victories.

With multiple state championships – and hopefully more to come soon, Madison Dampier has now made the obvious next choice of where she’ll be attending to compete after her time at Tallulah Falls School is up.
TFS Athletics. Top returning Tallulah Falls pitcher Cole Bonitatibus signed his national letter of intent to continue playing baseball at Gordon State College. Bonitatibus helped lead the Indians to a Georgia Class A-Division I state title game last season and looks to do the same this season in Tallulah Falls’ new association of the GIAA.

A trip to deep South Georgia ended Rabun County’s football season as the Purple Hurricane of Fitzgerald build a lead the Wildcats could not overcome in the first round of the Class A Division I state playoffs on Nov. 11.
