‘Run For Their Lives 5K’ Oct. 12

Choices Pregnancy Center will host the inaugural “Run For Their Lives 5K” on Saturday, Oct. 12, at 963 Tiger Connector, Tiger. Registration opens at 7:30 a.m. and the 5K begins at 8:30 a.m. The cost for the 5K is $60. Children ages 12 and under are free. All registrations include a T-shirt.

Rabun volleyball collects wins over West and East Hall on ‘Senior Night’

The Rabun County High School volleyball team honored its Class of 2025 seniors on Sept. 24 when the Lady Cats took on West Hall and East Hall.  In honor of its seniors, Rabun claimed victories over both Hall County schools, sweeping West 2-0 and topping East 2-1.

Wildcats weather Storm in 50-14 over Providence Christian

Playing one of its best games of the season, the Rabun County High School football team continued its winning ways after defeating Region 8 foe Providence Christian Academy (PCA) 50-14 in a game pushed to Saturday, Sept. 28, because of Hurricane Helene.
TFS Athletics. The Tallulah Falls Middle School team defeated Rabun, Franklin and Elbert County to win its first league title since 2015 on Saturday, Sept. 21. The Lady Indians trailed Elbert in the championship match after the first set but won the next two to claim the comeback and title.

Tallulah Falls Middle volleyball claims first league championship for school since 2015

The Tallulah Falls Middle School volleyball team won this year’s Georgia Middle School Volleyball League Championship on Sept. 21. The season-ending championship for the Lady Indians is their first title since 2015.  TFS beat Rabun County 25-8, 25-12 to take the first match.

Eagles stunned by Hun in OT

The level of football witnessed by the crowd in Rabun Gap on Sept. 20 would rival any game seen in the nation as two very evenly matched high school squads battled down to the last play in overtime when the national power out of New Jersey the Hun School edged the Eagles 37-31.

Wildcats ‘prey’ over Leopards in 31-9 rout

The Rabun County High School football team claimed a region win with a strong running attack against winless Banks County 31-9 in Homer on Friday, Sept. 20.  After the road route of the Leopards (0-5), the eighth-ranked Georgia Class A Division I Wildcats improved to 4-1 and 1-0 in region play.
