SOCCER Rabun Gap: The Rabun Gap boys lost 3-0 to Wesleyan Christian Academy in the NCISAA Class 4A state championship in High Point, N.C., last Saturday. It was the Eagles’ first appearance in the state title match in program history.

Cats’ offense hums to season-high in win vs. Devils

ELBERTON — It was a different setting but a similar result for the Rabun County Wildcats at Elbert County’s Granite Bowl last Friday night: another blowout win.

TFS cross country honors senior runners

The Tallulah Falls School cross country program honored six seniors at this season’s final home meet, the Harrier Harvest.  Seniors Sophie Alexander, Haokun David Cheng, Sarah Edwards, Chris Geiger, Maria Whitson and Laurel Smith were honored before the eighth annual race.

Rabun advances to state quarterfinals

TIGER — Well-placed kills and timely blocks went a long way for the Rabun County volleyball team in its state playoff start.

Rabun County starts closing stretch at Elbert County

TIGER — With another bye week behind them, the Rabun County Wildcats are set to take on their last four regular season games. It starts with a visit to Elbert County at 7:30 p.m. Friday. The Blue Devils (3-3, 2-1 Region 8-AA) took a 35-14 loss against Union County on Oct. 4.

Rabun County's playoff run ends against Harlem

The Rabun County softball team’s playoff run came to an end after a doubleheader loss against the Harlem Bulldogs in Harlem on Tuesday night. Harlem scored runs in the sixth and seventh and won 6-5 in Game 1, before winning 10-6 in Game 2 to sweep the best-of-three series.

Rabun tops Union for area title, top seed

The Rabun County volleyball team earned a top seed in the GHSA Class A/AA state playoffs after defeating Union County 3-1 in a best-of-five match for the area championship at Ken Byrd Court last Thursday night. No. 1-seeded Rabun hosts No.
