RCHS Booster Club, Wildcat Grill to host celebration Thursday for RCHS hoops

Wildcat Grill in Tiger is hosting a celebration for the Rabun County boys basketball team and Rabun County cheerleaders on Thursday night, March 19, from 5-8 p.m., the Rabun County Athletic Booster Club announced on its Facebook page on Monday.

Wildcat golf eyes fourth straight state tourney appearance

Rabun County’s boys golf team made the state championship tournament for the third consecutive season last year, while Wildcat girls golfer Bella Hulsey qualified as an individual.

Lady Cats soccer looking to get back on track with full roster

Amidst a slow start to the 2026 season, the Rabun County girls soccer team is looking to turn things around and get on the right page as region play begins. On March 6, Rabun County earned its first victory of the season, dominating Elbert County, 9-1.

RCHS boys soccer returns with fresh faces following Elite Eight

After a run to the Elite Eight a season ago, the Rabun County boys soccer team is back on the pitch, but this season is led by several fresh faces, compiling a young roster. One of those fresh faces – on the sidelines rather than the field – is first-year head coach Cameron Heyen.

Wildcat tennis teams off to hot start in new season The Rabun County boys and girls tennis teams are off to a firing start in the 2026 campaign, following an Elite Eight appearance a season ago for both squads. That Elite Eight run for the Wildcat boys was its first in program history.

FORT VALLEY – The Rabun County boys basketball team has advanced to the state championship game for the first time in program history as a result of its 70-59 win over Fitzgerald on March 7 at Fort Valley State University. Rabun County will face Southwest-Macon on Friday, March 13, at 3 p.m.
