Lundy’s personal best guides TFS to 5th place at Valhalla Cup Tournament

The Lady Indians took part in the two-day Valhalla Cup Tournament at Chimney Oaks Golf Course, and yet again saw improvement in the way of fifth-place finish among 12 teams. After being in 3rd place after day one, the Lady Indians dropped two spots on day two to secure fifth place finish.

TFS boys soccer notches 10 wins on season

Make it two-for-two. The Indians joined the GHSA officially in 2021, and quickly made their first playoff run. What followed in 2022 was yet another playoff appearance, as Tallulah Falls went 10-5-1 overall, securing a third-place finish in the region standings.

Indians salvage series with 8-4 win over Athens Academy

The Indians won the third and final game of the series against Athens Academy on Thursday in an 8-4 final, snapping a two-game slide and salvaging the key region series. Norman Bastian pitched 6.1 solid innings to earn the save, and Aubrey Higgins came in to get the final two outs for the save.

TFS tennis boys, girls clinch state berths

  The Tallulah Falls School tennis teams clinched state playoff berths on Tuesday afternoon. For the Lady Indians, it meant back-to-back playoff trips. The Lady Indians earned a 3-2 close win over Athens Christian, sealing their playoff spot. The Indians also won 3-2 over George Walton.

Indian bass fishing team closes regular season in Lake Lanier tournament

The bass fishing teams of Tallulah Falls School closed out the regular season on April 9 in a Lake Lanier tournament. A pair of TFS teams were in action in the season finale. The middle school team of DJ Broome and Jack Thomson came in 16th, reeling in five fish for 11.91 pounds of total catch.

Track competes at Asheville School Wednesday, April 6 The Rabun Gap track team put up another solid performance at Asheville School last Wednesday. Ana Baptisa took first place in the high jump.

Ladycats capture title; Wildcats finish third

Add another region trophy for Rabun County High School athletics. In what turned out to be a 14-hour day on the RCHS courts for Region 8-AA action Tuesday, the Ladycats defeated Banks County 3-2 to claim the championship.
