Sky Valley City Hall was standing room only for the Tuesday, March 17, evening council meeting as a vote on the city’s sewer project was voted down.

Georgia Bigfoot Conference and Comicon this Saturday

The 2026 Georgia Bigfoot Conference and North Georgia Comicon will be held at Big Shoals Junction in Tiger on Saturday, March 21, just south of Clayton on Highway 441. The event, from 9:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. will have a number of vendors and exciting speakers.

Area power outage in Clayton due to downed tree on Hwy. 441

Businesses and residences in parts of downtown Clayton experienced a power outage on the morning of Thursday, March 12 after a tree fell on a powerline on Ga. 15 at O’Reilly Auto Parts. The outage affected businesses on Highway 76 East and Highway 441.
