FCA brings Florida baseball players to Rabun

SKY VALLEY — Fellowship of Christian Athletes leaders Jason Schack and Jason Arnold wanted to give their group of Florida high school baseball players a chance to get away, while getting closer to their faith. Twenty-five student-athletes from Brevard County, Fla., took in a little bit of everything Rabun County and the surrounding area had to offer during their five-day retreat last week. “This is at the end of a summer where they’ve been investing spiritually. We’ve been praying with these kids, teaching them the word and we wanted to get them to a place where they could retreat,” Schack said.
