Veterans honored at Veterans Day Ceremony

It’s important to never forget the brave men and women who have put their lives on the line to serve in the United States military.

TFS thespian troupe takes first place at GISA Region 1-AAAA One-Act Play competition

Tallulah Falls School’s thespian troupe took first place at the GISA Region 1-AAAA One-Act Play competition on Tuesday, Oct. 30. The group presented “Left Unsaid,” - an original play written by TFS seniors Katie Anderson of Clarkesville and Lizzy Wanner of Toccoa.

25th annual Veterans Appreciation Dinner salutes those who served

The 25th annual Veterans Appreciation Dinner had a successful turnout as community members showed their support for veterans. Forward Rabun/Rabun County Chamber of Commerce held the 25th annual Veterans Appreciation Dinner on Thursday, Nov. 7 at the Rabun County Civic Center.

Rabun Pickleball Club honored as GRPA statewide ‘Volunteer of Year’

The Rabun Pickleball Club was recently named as this year’s Georgia Recreation and Parks Association (GRPA) statewide “Volunteer of the Year.”  The award recognizes the club’s community service work in and around Rabun County.

Vet-to-Vet Café brings veterans together

Camaraderie among military Veterans is extremely important. One way those who have served can connect with others is through the monthly Vet-to-Vet Café sponsored by Forward Rabun. The Vet-to-Vet Café is held every second Tuesday of the month at 10 a.m. Its new location beginning Nov.
