TFS students swimming to success with new youth water polo club

On Aug. 30, the Tallulah Falls School began its six-week Youth Water Polo Afterschool Club. Since then, 18 students from TFS’s lower and middle schools have been learning how to play water polo in an effort to become better swimmers while competing, having fun and making friends.

RGNS to induct newest members into Athletic Hall of Fame

The Rabun Gap-Nacoochee School will induct two new members into its Athletic Hall of Fame on Oct. 14.   The ceremony is part of the School’s annual Fall Homecoming festivities.  This year, the school is honoring two former players who became coaches for RGNS.

Lady Cats make Blue Devils sweat in seventh-inning comeback; use momentum against future opponents

The Rabun County softball team lost 7-5 in its region matchup against Elbert County last Tuesday.  The Lady Wildcats were shut out through the majority of the contest as they trailed 7-0 through six innings.

RGNS Eagles soar to ground visiting Colorado Eagles

Aces full for McCoy: Becomes all-time TFS service ace leader

When facing the Tallulah Falls School volleyball team, there will be no bluffing from middle-hitter Addy McCoy as she tends to have a few aces in her hand.  After TFS’s victory against Athens Christian on Tuesday, Sept. 11, the Lady Indian senior led the entire nation in aces with 112.

Wildcats rout Braves 45-13

The Rabun County High School football team won its non-region game against Heard County 45-13 last Friday night to put the Wildcats back in the top five of Georgia Class A Division I (No. five) after falling to No. 7 earlier in the season.

TFS beats two ranked opponents, winning Bronze Division championship

The Tallulah Falls Lady Indians faced tough competition in a Tennessee tournament before coming back to Georgia to collect a Monday win. TFS (23-13) went unbeaten on the second day of the Rocky Top Invitational in Tennessee on Sept. 9, winning five matches to claim the Bronze Division Championship.
The entire team membership of the 1982 cross country team included Tracy Watts, Kelly Shropshire, Gigi Beck, Tara Dixon, Suzanne Beck, Caroline West, Von Taylor, Perri McCraw, Chrystal King, Kim Whitaker, Tracy Gragg, Ann Reeves, Robin Sprague, Cindy Keener, Valarie Florence and coach Gail Crowe. The Twin Rivers Challenge premier cycling event hosted by Tallulah Falls School returns for the ninth annual ride on Saturday, Oct. 28. This destination ride showcases the beauty of Northeast Georgia during the peak leaf season.
