Clash of Cats Friday as RCHS, Commerce tangle

An overmatched Athens Christian Eagles team did not pose much of an obstacle for visiting Rabun County on Oct. 20, but this Friday’s region foe Commerce certainly presents a stiffer challenge with region title implications at stake. Athens Christian’s season has been a struggle for the Eagles.

Freaky Friday: Wildcats take first region loss since 2013

It was indeed a “Freaky Friday” as the Wildcats lost their first region matchup since the 2013 season, when it began a 50-game win streak against region opponents.  The Rabun County High School football team lost its region opener to Elbert County 21-9 at home on Oct. 13.
