Free HIV testing at all District 2 health departments

GAINESVILLE – While great work has been done to improve the lives of people living with HIV, more than 32 million people have died worldwide from AIDS-related illness. People with HIV who take HIV medicine as prescribed can achieve an undetectable viral load and live a long and healthy life.

Clayton crews work overnight to repair valves

Clayton public works crews worked overnight Sunday, Nov. 13, to replace valves on Main Street as part of an ongoing process to replace valves and fire hydrants in the city.

Top educators have ‘passion’ for job

The evening was highlighted by select quality educators who are described as having the upmost “passion” for teaching their students as these Rabun County School System employees daily go “above and beyond.

Successful salute to those who served

CLAYTON– The 2022 Veterans Appreciation Dinner was a success as over 200 veterans and their guests attended the event presented by the Rabun County Chamber of Commerce and Forward Rabun on Nov. 10.
