‘Grand Day’ returns at TFS

A favorite tradition for the Tallulah Falls School middle school community returned on Oct. 7 with special guests in attendance for “Grand Day.” Students invited grandparents, grand friends or other influential people to join them for a peek into the middle school experience.

Annual ShadeOutDM event hosted by GenSol Diagnostics at Rabun County Bark Park

GenSol Diagnostics, a local animal genetics company, hosted their second annual ShadeOutDM - Race At Your Own Pace event at the Rabun County Bark Park on Saturday, Oct. 8. The ShadeOutDM Foundation was created to help raise awareness of Degenerative Myelopathy (DM).

Early voting continues to witness high turnout ahead of election day

The Rabun County Board of Elections continues seeing a large turnout at the polls as voters have been casting their ballots during early voting since it opened Oct. 17. Election Day is Tuesday, Nov. 8, and the polls are open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Veterans Appreciation Dinner coming next week

It’s important to honor those brave men and women who have sacrificed so much for the freedoms we have in the United States. Rabun County honors its veterans throughout the year and the annual Veterans Appreciation Dinner culminates the year and effort to thank our military veterans.
