Grist retires as Dillard City Council member

DILLARD– The city of Dillard honored Council Member Carron Grist by presenting her with a proclamation at Tuesday’s city council meeting. Grist announced that she was retiring after 14 years of service to the city of Dillard.

CLAYTON– NASA Astronaut Winston Scott spoke to the Rotary Club of Clayton about his missions to space at the Rotary meeting Aug. 18. Scott was selected by NASA in March 1992 and reported to the Johnson Space Center in August 1992.
